My trading results used to be all over the place - completely uneven and unpredictable. I'd have some wins, but then give it all back and often with bigger losses. I was taking way too many risks and wasn't modeling my trades properly - basically trading on emotion and gut feelings. It was a frustrating cycle that wasn't getting me anywhere.

Trading for me is more about controlling my emotions, becoming a better person, and following the rules and @MrNotAdvice's methodology, rather than being afraid of losing money to someone else in the market. It’s inevitable that we’ll all make money here! It’s just a matter of time and sticking to the rules. I couldn’t believe it myself until my last 1:1 call with my mentor. Welcome! Ditto. Without this discord, would never have achieved the results I have. Neither would wish to suggest they are 'typical'. They are not. But they are achievable by sticking to highest) probability setups only, avoiding overtrading, cutting losses quickly, & remaining disciplined. Have found that when trades (the best) work in my directional favor, it is almost always immediately. As such, have raised S/L to max 2% or even closer proximity, based on strong S/R levels, usually on HTFs than the one I'm currently trading. MrNA's methodology works. I am living proof.

As we close out the day, week and month I wanted to share something here with (Member) So May 20th was my 2 year anniversary joining this discord. I wanted to write something up thanking @JustJake and everyone here really for making this such a great community. Across borders, political views and economic views I feel this is a really special place that's been created for learning and sharing ideas. It wouldn’t be possible without some truly incredible people here. A little over 2 years ago I had no experience trading. Or investing.

I would sometimes look at my 401k statement and that was about the extent of it. I came to find trading and by extension Boss by a connection of events. I’ve always enjoyed math and physics although I have no real schooling in either. I also enjoy pizza. An amazing food that contains all the food groups in a single slice. So in my newsfeed I came across a physicist who did a study and paper on the physics involved in making an ideal pizza. After devouring that ( Ha! ) I found another physics paper written about trading. From there I became curious and formulated a plan. The plan was to watch stocks that were suddenly rising and jump on the bandwagon. Needless to say, that failed miserably. Luckily I wasn’t investing heavily so losses were small. As were gains. If any existed. I turned to researching and found reddit forums which were of course incredibly useless with any particular ticker seeming to head to the moon at any moment. Reading through a forum I noticed someone who sounded rather sane…CountStockula.

When checking out the profile I saw he was talking in a new forum from … MrNotAdvice. Only a handful of us were there but suddenly here was someone answering the most mundane questions (What’s an option?) with clarity, examples, methodology and never talking down to anyone. Freely giving explanations and resources or where to find them. Light bulb suddenly went off for me and I’ve been hooked ever since. To the point that within these 2 years I left my full time job ( satellite, cellular comms was my background since Army days in the 90’s. Yeah, I’m old) and am able to scalp and trade at a level that so far hasn’t lost me any income. I won’t say it’s alway been easy. I’ve read and tried to learn an incredible amount of information these last years. When I wake up in the morning I’m looking at news and overseas indexes. When I go to bed at night I find myself glancing at the N225 and futures indexes. But the wonderful thing is that it no longer feels like work. It is enjoyable.

So to those of you who are new I can’t encourage you enough to ask questions and learn as much as possible. We often learn just as much by answering questions as asking. To those of you ‘old timers’ I want to say thanks for helping me along this journey ( and it’s still just beginning) and sometimes laughing at my incredibly dry, but very humorous jokes. And of course thank you MrNotAdvice for literally giving me the ability to change my life for the better. Didn’t think that was even possible from an Eagles fan. Thanks, Boss and everyone here for an amazing 2 years!

Where my success on this discord has been is "awareness." I was totally gambling (still do a bit, but "trying" to decrease and eventually eliminate.) I really haven't started the technical analysis aspect much as I still have a lot to learn... especially when it comes to scaling and placing stops. I've never felt more comfortable with a investment in learning to trade. With my trades of my personal portfolio, I have already profited more than the cost of this membership. I have been taking very minor positions in the VIP / FIGHTCLUB trades until I feel comfortable. - Member

I have to give The Boss this one, but I'm ahead of him on picking the right football team. In all seriousness. When I first started and was doubting The Boss I was looking up other Discords. The first thing I noticed, they didn't teach a methodology as detailed as The Boss's. They would mention technical indicators without a method around them. The second thing was they mainly traded around the very liquid stocks and options, such as NVDA, TSLA etc. Third, there was no way to ask the basic questions I needed, like how to read a candle chart, how to place a trade other than trading the Bid/Ask. Finally, the boards weren't interactive. When I asked a question on this board, everyone helped. I don't see that anywhere else. There have been times I mentioned the Discord to people on Reddit sites, and no one believes me. I stopped because I would be accused of being another fraud.

This is best discord I have ever come across. Most discords sound like they are giving sound advice but like Von D said they are all pushing pump and dumps. I am watching a couple of plays that I might get a little more aggressive with & I also need to join the live sessions. Those are great. I also need to get a better handle on SD. - @#1Lineman

Gotcha... but I REALLY want to buy puts on $tsla someday soon (by end of Q1 '25)... I think the Musk Trump lovefest will be out of the "honeymoon phase." What was nice is I was with the Boss on a 1 on 1 during the FOMC Q&A and watching the QQQ chart seeing what he was doing for the lotto trade. Need to share this...Since June I have been long some $OP| e-mini bonds (bonds that trade as shares) under the symbol $OPINL. My cost was $9.85 per share ($25 par) to yield 16.59%, yes senior office bonds with a 6.85% coupon at a deep discount ("no such thing as a bad bond at the RIGHT price." I hedged the risk by buying puts on $OPI common. I took the quarterly dividend and today I sold all the puts for a gain and sold 75% of the mini bonds and hold the remainder (my profit. I'm working off my profit clipping 16.59% (....calculate that total return going forward!) Before I followed

@MrNotAdvice on X and joined this group I would have rode 100% with no hedge and probably would have been scalped in a credit downturn. Followed a plan. Stuck to the plan. Protected my capital. I am now on the second stage of profit AND I have my original capital to go find some other opportunity to capitalize on. I learned the discipline here. There are a lot of smart traders here. Listen, take notes, ask questions, control your trading emotions and make serious wealth. Super grateful for what all of you are teaching me. Thanks!

Damn, you are teaching this old guy some good stuff and I must be learning. The emotional cycle you described was similar to mine this week and your sharing helped me because it confirmed my actions I felt alone but the newsletter comments showed I wasn't. I started scaling a little earlier than you, but each time you posted your moves, you confirmed my mental checks. I didn't get as high of returns as you financially but I feel like I earned a ton by checking my emotions, something that I needed when trading in 2008. I got the capital back but I would have preferred to have avoided the trough. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!

l've been trading with you one month and I am up nearly 5%. I realize that is only one month but it far exceeds my prior efforts. That includes several mistakes on my part plus not getting filled on the ENVX trade. The biggest thing I am learning is to hold the winners longer and cut the losers sooner. Thank you my friend. If people are not paying attention to Mr Reyes then keep your negativity to yourself. Just look at the price stock. I personally am losing 1/2 of my ass. The other half thanks to him am Mr not advice pod cast getting information that you will not ever get anywhere else. I have been a holder of ENOVIX for many years. If it was not for them I would be 100% under water. Sorry to rant but I am pissed. I have been a loyal share holder and corporate has not. It's just crazy last CC said they will not raise and Raj would not sell and the very next day, not a month later the next day. They raise. Thank you for the pod cast Mr not advice and Mr Rays. If not for you guys I would still be holding 100 %. I will say I still have lost a lot $ .

A quick personal post to the community and The Boss. I'm still relatively new to trading, AND I have a spreadsheet tracking my trades and I'm averaging 58%, which for me is amazing. It's like The Boss says, most people are out there hoping for / happy with a 12% return annually. Being a part of this community and learning from The Boss I'm.... 58%. AND I'm making the same money monthly that I use to make as an intern architect after 6 1/2 years of employment and 10 years of university. What The Boss has created has been a game changer for me, and I'm very grateful. Which reminds me, I finally put some time into trading last week and this week and holy crap MrNA plays have been incredible to me. Like 600% and 200% trades. CLMT, CAPR, OWL, OKLO, even more I can't remember. If I knew how to trade futures with top step or something and followed Bacon plays too, holy shit, I'd be rich
